Who we are

When you complete the contact form on this site, you provide us with your name, email address, phone number, and optionally your goals and which membership tier interests you. You also confirm, by checking a consent box, that you agree to be contacted about Sequoia Strength Training.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider and our analytics tools collect limited technical information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and pages visited. We may also set cookies or similar technologies (see Cookies and Tracking, below).

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment information through this website. Membership billing, when you become a member, is handled separately through our gym-management platform.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Contact you by phone, text, or email about Sequoia Strength Training membership and to answer your questions.
• Schedule and follow up on a walkthrough, consultation, or other appointment you request.
• Improve our website, our programs, and our communications.
• Measure the performance of our advertising and understand how visitors find us.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Phone calls and text messages

When you submit the contact form and check the consent box, you are agreeing that we may contact you by phone call, text message (SMS), or email at the phone number and email address you provided. We use this information to follow up about your membership inquiry and to support you as a member if you join.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your stage with us (for example, more frequent when scheduling a walkthrough, less frequent once you are an active member).

Message and data rates. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Sequoia does not charge for messages we send.

Opting out. You can opt out of text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To receive help, reply HELP or contact us at connect@trainsequoia.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase. You may still contact us about membership by phone or email even if you decline text messages.

Who we share your information with

We share limited personal information only with vendors that help us operate the site and communicate with you. These vendors are bound by their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. They include:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides security and performance services.
• Twilio, which delivers text messages between us and you.
• Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram), for advertising measurement and conversion tracking. We share a hashed, non-reversible version of your email, phone number, and name so Meta can help us understand which ads are working. We do not share raw or plain-text personal information with Meta.
• Zapier (when used), which routes form submissions into our internal tools.
• Google Maps, which powers the map on our Location page.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of our members and the public.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies for ad attribution, and basic analytics provided by our hosting platform.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your preferences in your Facebook / Instagram ad settings or by using browser extensions that block tracking.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as we need it to respond to your inquiry, provide services you have requested, and support your membership if you join. We may retain a limited record of your request and of transactions where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
