SEQUOIA Strength Training LLC ("SEQUOIA," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or submit the contact form, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have about it. By using this website, you agree to the practices described below.

Who we are

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you complete the contact form on this site, you provide us with your name, email address, phone number, and optionally your goals and which membership tier interests you. By submitting the form, you agree that SEQUOIA may contact you by phone call or email about your inquiry. The form also contains an optional SMS opt-in box (unchecked by default) for separately consenting to receive text messages from us.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider and our analytics tools collect limited technical information when you visit the site, including your IP address, browser type, device, referring URL, and pages visited. We may also set cookies or similar technologies (see Cookies and Tracking, below).

What we do not collect. We do not collect payment information through this website. Membership billing, when you become a member, is handled separately through our gym-management platform.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

• Contact you by phone or email about SEQUOIA Strength Training membership and to answer your questions, and by text message only if you separately opt in to SMS on the contact form.
• Schedule and follow up on a walkthrough, consultation, or other appointment you request.
• Improve our website, our programs, and our communications.
• Measure the performance of our advertising and understand how visitors find us.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent or trade your information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

Phone calls and text messages

Phone calls and email. By submitting the contact form, you agree that we may follow up with you by phone call or email at the number and email address you provided to discuss your inquiry and membership.

Text messages (SMS) are opt-in only. The contact form contains a separate, optional checkbox for SMS consent. The box is unchecked by default. We will only send you text messages if you affirmatively check that box. If you do not opt in, we will not text you. SMS opt-in is never required to use our services or to submit the contact form.

If you opt in to SMS. Messages from SEQUOIA may include responses to your inquiry, scheduling and appointment information, and membership updates. Message frequency varies based on your stage with us (for example, more frequent when scheduling a walkthrough, less frequent once you are an active member).

Message and data rates. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. SEQUOIA does not charge for messages we send.

Opting out. You can opt out of text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. To receive help, reply HELP or contact us at connect@trainsequoia.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of using our services. You may still contact us about membership by phone or email even if you decline text messages.

Who we share your information with

We share limited personal information only with vendors that help us operate the site and communicate with you. These vendors are bound by their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing. They include:

• Cloudflare, which hosts this website and provides security and performance services.
• Twilio, which delivers text messages between us and you.
• Meta Platforms (Facebook / Instagram), for advertising measurement and conversion tracking. We share a hashed, non-reversible version of your email, phone number, and name so Meta can help us understand which ads are working. We do not share raw or plain-text personal information with Meta.
• Zapier (when used), which routes form submissions into our internal tools.
• Google Maps, which powers the map on our Location page.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to respond to valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety and that of our members and the public.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This includes the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies for ad attribution, and basic analytics provided by our hosting platform.

Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can also opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your preferences in your Facebook / Instagram ad settings or by using browser extensions that block tracking.

Data retention

We keep the information you submit for as long as we need it to respond to your inquiry, provide services you have requested, and support your membership if you join. You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing connect@trainsequoia.com. We may retain a limited record of your request and of transactions where required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is 100 percent secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults. Per our Terms and Conditions, you must be at least 18 to submit the contact form or use our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• See what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your information, subject to our need to keep certain records for legal or business reasons.
• Stop receiving marketing or text messages from us.
